A local official in Salsomboon, Laos, has ruled three young girls will not be allowed to take year-end examinations because they “forfeited their right to education” by embracing Christianity.
The incident is the latest in a series of steps taken against the Christian minority in Laos, where the government exercises strict control on religious activities.
